FILM SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY MAY 28th POSTPONED

Dear guest due to electricity problems in cinema Europe, we had to postpone morning film projections by one hour. First film "Key from Spain" will start at 12:00 and „Brothers Warner“ at 13:00. All other projection will be held as scheduled.

Dear visitors of the Festival and film Ajami. Organizers apologize for the title "The match factory" in the upper right corner of the screen hopping that it didn't diminish the viewing. Organizers have all rights for the projection of the film Ajami and unfortunately the version of film with the advertisement of the production house was delivered without previous notice. Thank you for understanding and looking forward to seeing you at our forthcoming projections.

MAYOR MILAN BANDIC WILL WELCOME BULGARIAN TSAR AND ORGANISERS OF THE FESTIVAL

On Sunday May 23rd Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic will host a luncheon for the Bulgarian Tsar Simeon II and Queen Margerita, Mr. Florian Gallenberger, director of the movie “John Rabe” which will open the Festival, Festival president Mr. Branko Lustig and Festival director Mrs. Natasa Popovic. BULGARIAN TSAR SIMEON II AND QUEEN MARGARITA ARE ARRIVING TO ZAGREB

Bulgarian Tsar Simeon II and Queen Margerita will arrive to Zagreb tomorrow as guest of the 4th Jewish Film Festival. Festival President Branko Lustig invited Tsar Simeon II to Zagreb to present him with the plaquettes “Righteous” which his father, King Boris III earned with his good deeds and humanity. Book promotion “When Neighbours Were People”

The value of the Festival is recognised through rich cultural and educative program. Apart from international Talent Workshop, educative mornings for students and music program, Festival will promote Eli Tauber’s book “When neighbours were people”. Book is compiled of 25 stories about people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, people of all religions and nationalities, who saved Jews. Festival guests will hold lectures at the academy of dramatic art

Academy of Dramatic art will host distinguished guest of the 4th Jewish Film Festival Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård on Tuesday May 25th Croatian from 10am till 10.45am in Academy's projection room. Students will have the opportunity to meet with Stellan Skarsgård and learn everything about his acting and life.
