"The Territory" is an unfiltered look into the lives of Israelis from the former Soviet Union who made their new home in the West Bank settlements. While some residents move to the settlements looking for cheaper housing, most are motivated by Zionist ideology; and all are influenced by their past experience of being a minority in the Soviet Union. Over the course of the film, viewers will meet Russian Jewish settlers from all walks of life - parents and children, computer programmers and bike mechanics - who feel they've finally found the place where they belong. The film is an exploration of questions of identity, religion and conflict.
